In order to find a Minecraft server that you will enjoy, it may take some time. This is why we made our Minecraft server list, which contains some of the best Minecraft servers. When trying to find a server that matches what you're looking for, some players like to join servers that have low player counts and a tighter-knit community, while others like large networks with thousands of players where there are constant events, action, and always someone to play with.

Others may only like to play certain gamemodes that they're already familiar with like survival, while others might prefer more fast-paced gamemodes where there's constant action like PvP or BedWars. At the end of the day, it all comes down to personal preference and it may take joining a few different Minecraft servers before deciding on which one to stick with.

How are Minecraft servers ranked on this list?

On our server list we aim to rank servers as fairly as possible. Featured servers appear first, and after that all servers are ranked in order of how many votes they receive during the month. This prioritizes larger, stronger communities by showing them closer to the top of the list.

That said, players looking for smaller servers still have the option to find them on our site by searching, sorting by gamemode, or going through different pages. On our list we show over 750 different Minecraft servers, all of which are manually checked by a site admin before they are listed. This makes sure that we're only listing servers that meet our standards and no low-quality servers get through.

We also automatically check every server's status and player count every 10 minutes. This helps ensure that you are not shown servers that are currently offline and unavailable to join.

How do I connect to one of these servers?

Connecting to a Minecraft server is easy:

1. Find a server that you like and copy the IP.
2. Open Minecraft. We list both Bedrock and Java servers on our list, so anyone can find a server to join.
3. Open the Multiplayer or Servers menu and click the “Add Server” button.
4. Paste the IP you copied into the field called Server Address.
5. In the server name box, type any name.
6. Click Done or Save, and then join the server!

If you have trouble connecting after these steps, it's best to check if you're using the correct Minecraft version and edition, if the IP and port were entered correctly, or if the server is online. Although we only show servers that were online during their latest status check, it could just be restarting, so it is best to try connecting again after a couple of minutes. If the problems persist after that, it's best to pick another Minecraft server listed above.
