1. Information we collect

The information collected depends on how you use the site.

Site visits. We may receive your IP address, browser and device information, operating system, referring page, pages visited, timestamps, rough geographic region inferred from your IP address, request records, and fraud- or security-related signals.

Accounts. When you register or sign in, we may process your email address, session information, login timestamps, authentication tokens or token hashes, user-agent information, and activity connected to your account.

Server listings. When you submit or manage a listing, we collect the details you provide, such as the server name, hostname or IP address, port, version, gamemodes, description, banner, links, listing status, and account associated with the listing.

Votes. When you vote, we may process the Minecraft username entered, the server selected, the vote time and status, cooldown information, and anti-abuse identifiers derived from information such as IP address or user agent.

Support. When you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and any name, email address, Discord handle, screenshot, file, or other information you choose to include.

2. Public listing information

Server listings are meant to be public.

Once a listing is accepted, details such as its name, connection address, port, artwork, description, version, categories, online players, availability, links, and voting totals can be shown publicly.

Do not include information in a listing that you do not want publicly displayed. We may edit, hide, deactivate, or remove listing content for moderation, accuracy, safety, or site-quality reasons.

3. How we use information

We process this information for the following purposes:

• operating accounts, listings, voting, and other site features;
• authenticating users and protecting account access;
• recording votes, applying cooldowns, detecting manipulation, and maintaining rankings;
• reviewing and moderating listings and uploaded content;
• delivering vote notifications through Votifier when enabled;
• responding to support, account, and privacy requests;
• measuring performance, understanding site usage, and troubleshooting errors;
• preventing spam, fraud, automated abuse, and security threats;
• maintaining records and backups; and
• complying with legal obligations and enforcing our Terms and Conditions.

Where applicable, our reasons for processing may include providing requested services, complying with law, pursuing legitimate interests in operating and securing the site, and consent.

4. Votifier

Some server owners enable Votifier or a similar vote-delivery feature.

When you vote for one of those servers, we may send the server your Minecraft username, the voting-service name, a timestamp, and your IP address when the protocol requires it.

Voting does not provide the server owner with the email address used for your Find Minecraft Servers account. Once vote information reaches a third-party server, that server is responsible for its own use of the information.

5. Cookies, analytics, and security tools

We use cookies and similar technologies for sessions, login, form protection, temporary preferences, security, and other functions needed to operate the site. Blocking all cookies may prevent login, voting, or forms from working correctly.

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and understand how the site is used. Analytics data can include visited pages, browser or device characteristics, general location, referral source, visit times, interactions, and cookie-based identifiers.

Our Analytics configuration is not used for remarketing or third-party advertising profiles.

We may use Cloudflare Turnstile or comparable tools to distinguish legitimate activity from bots. These services may process IP address, browser or device signals, user-agent information, origin, sitekey, and verification results.

Some browsers provide Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control, or similar signals. Because we do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, these signals may not change ordinary site operations. We will recognize qualifying signals where applicable law requires us to do so.

6. When information is shared

We do not sell personal information.

Information may be disclosed:

• to hosting, database, email, analytics, security, backup, and other providers that support the site;
• to a listed server through Votifier or a similar vote-delivery feature;
• when required by law or valid legal process;
• when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, enforce our rules, protect rights or safety, or respond to a security incident; or
• as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of the site or its assets.

7. Retention and security

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including site operation, account management, voting integrity, moderation, security, backups, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.

Account and listing records can be kept during active use and afterward for a limited period justified by these purposes.

Vote and cooldown records may be retained to preserve totals and prevent abuse. Raw IP addresses used temporarily for Votifier delivery are intended to be removed after delivery, expiration, or routine cleanup, while hashed anti-abuse records may be kept longer.

Support correspondence and backups may also remain for a limited period.

We use reasonable safeguards such as HTTPS, access controls, secure sessions, hashed tokens or identifiers, rate limits, bot checks, and restricted administrative access. No online service can guarantee complete security, and you are responsible for protecting the email account used to access your account.

8. Third-party services

A server or external service you visit through Find Minecraft Servers may collect its own information, including Minecraft usernames, IP addresses, gameplay records, chat messages, connection logs, purchases, or moderation history.

We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or conduct of third-party servers, websites, stores, Discord communities, or downloads.

9. Your choices and requests

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may be able to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, or object to or restrict certain processing.

Send requests to [email protected]. Before acting on an account request, we may require confirmation through the account’s registered email address.

A request may be limited or denied where the law permits us to retain information for security, fraud prevention, vote integrity, backups, disputes, or legal obligations.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser, although some site features may no longer work correctly.

10. Children

Find Minecraft Servers is a general-audience site and is not intended for children under 13. Children under 13 may not create an account, submit a listing, vote, or send personal information through the site.

A parent or guardian who believes we received data from someone under 13 should contact us so we can investigate and respond appropriately.

11. International use

Site operations are based in the United States. Our vendors may handle information in the U.S. or elsewhere, and the privacy protections in those places can differ from those in your home jurisdiction.

12. Changes and contact

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top will show when it was last updated, and we may provide additional notice for material changes when appropriate.
