Minecraft Survival servers

Minecraft survival servers are very similar to the singleplayer gamemode, except played online with other players and often with additional features added. On survival servers the goal is still the same though, players explore the world, mine, farm, build, survive against mobs, and team up with other players.

There are two broad types of survival servers which determine what features they have and how hard the gameplay is. For example, some survival servers play more like traditional SMPs, typically with just land claiming and other basic features. Others however add more modern features like crates, player warps, player shops, jobs, resource worlds, in-game economies, and much more. When picking a server from our list, be sure to check the server's rules on PvP as some servers have it completely disabled while others have it enabled everywhere in the world or in certain PvP zones, but protect new players from PvP damage for a short grace period.
