Runbad

Runbad is a small semi-vanilla SMP for players who prefer a quieter, community-first Survival server over a huge public network. We have been hosting since October 2025, and the server is still intentionally small enough that people actually get to know each other.

This is primarily a PvE server. PvP is optional and off by default, so you can build and relax without constantly worrying about somebody looking for a fight. Griefing and stealing are not allowed, and we use GriefPrevention and CoreProtect to protect claimed builds and deal with problems when they happen. Claiming your builds is important if you want staff to be able to restore them.

We also have player shops and a player economy, playtime-based ranks, RTP, homes and warps, night skipping, a Discord bridge, and a spawn hub with shared utilities and leaderboards. Our custom resource pack adds community-made content such as plushies, pride decorations, and other ideas suggested by players.

There is zero pay-to-win. Runbad is 13+ and is intended to be a safe, welcoming space, including for LGBTQ+ players. The server is largely built and maintained by one person with a small trusted staff team, so we would rather grow carefully than pretend to be a giant polished network.

If you want nonstop PvP or hundreds of people online at once, this probably is not that server. If you want a cozy place to build, chat, and stick around for a while, you may fit right in.
